Youth Fellows 2009Supporting the Next Generation of Oakland ArtistsThe Youth Fellows Initiative integrates youth development with core arts programming. The award provides multiple exhibitions of youth artwork in public spaces, eligibility in annual juried exhibitions, mentorship, art supplies, and artist networking opportunities. Pro Arts awarded 18 Fellowships to the following youth. Works by the 2009 Youth Fellows are on display as part of the East Bay Open Studios Preview Exhibition at Pro Arts Gallery, 550 Second St., Oakland. Funding provided in part by The Thomas J.
