In partnership with The Art of Living Black (TAOLB) Leroy Parker’s colorful, abstract paintings convey an organic and fluid approach to creating art. The work also presents a tension which can be found in the flowing, expressive lines that seek to break up the rigid grid-like formations below. The artist’s intuitive approach to the art- making process, sometimes working over an older painting for instance, is very much evident throughout his work.

Having spent most of his life in Oakland, Leroy Parker now resides in Lafayette, CA.
